Sana MEP to Link Bridge at Wood Green Shopping Centre

Sana MEP has been contracted by Capital and Regional, the owners of Wood Green Shopping Centre to provide power sources for additional retail unit spaces. Alongside this, Sana MEP will be equipping a bridge with low-energy consumption lighting.

The Wood Green Shopping Centre is one of the largest retail spaces in North London, serving hundreds of thousands of people each year. With footfall so high, connecting infrastructure like the bridge are integral to keeping the location functional.

Spanning two floors and 617,000 sq. ft., the Wood Green Shopping Centre currently boasts 101 retail units and an additional 45 stalls. The owners are looking to expand this retail space with new shop units, all requiring power supplies that Sana MEP will be providing.

The shopping centre boasts a range of popular retail outlets such as Boots, H&M, and TK Maxx alongside restaurants like Five Guys and Burger King. Further retail units which Sana MEP are installing the power supplies for are to be announced shortly.

Sana MEP has been commissioned to ensure the bridge has sustainable and energy efficient lighting and new retail spaces have complete power sources to get them off to a flying start.

The director for Sana MEP says of the project, “Sana MEP is a company local to Wood Green Shopping Centre and we are thrilled to illuminate the bridge and provide power solutions for the new retail units. The shopping centre is a fundamental part of Wood Green and the wider community, and we endeavour to ensure it can be enjoyed for generations to come with our electrical solutions.”
